Filmmaking - Explore the world of visual arts through a film project. The student will express ideas creatively and collaboratively; and experience aspects of the filmmaking process. The two sessions allow students to gain knowledge of the following:

DIRECTING: The making of films and videos with artistic and dramatic aspects. Visualizing the script while guiding the technical crew and actors in the fulfillment of that vision.

ART DIRECTION: Develop and visually communicate the overall visual appearance of a film and video to stimulate moods, contrast features, and psychologically appeals to a target audience.

During the brainstorming process, the director is engaged in imagining what the finished piece or scene might look like.
